De loin la meilleure adresse que nous ayons testée à Lagos. Niché sur une petite place paisible, le restaurant dégage une atmosphère unique et pleine de charme. Chaque plat que nous avons dégusté était un régal, avec un vrai coup de cœur pour les gyozas de crevettes. Le vin recommandé par le personnel s’accordait parfaitement avec le repas. It is not easy to find a good restaurant in Lagos if you are a foody. But this restaurant is the one. Don't get fooled by the location: the restaurant is located in a new neighborhood among new buildings, far from the center. And it is great news since you are not swarmed with other tourists. Now let's speak about the cuisine: very creative, tasty, a reinvention of classic dishes like burrata here smoked. I am used to great food and this place definitely delivers. Lastly the service: very friendly in a genuine way, good advice on the menu, the drinks. By the way the drinks: they also do great cocktails! All in all, go there if you want a great experience. Don't go there if you like traditional restaurants for English tourists ;-). Highly recommended. ~ frederic a

One of the best dinners out of 2 weeks in Portugal. Chic yet relaxed and vibrant food and atmosphere. My wife and I found availability here after a last minute change of plans. We were a little unsure initially with the location and low number of reviews, but they immediately made us feel welcome. The hosts were friendly and funny and I would trust their recommendations for any food or drinks. Each dish comes out one at a time and their passion describing them is contagious. We both tried ingredients outside of our comfort zone and each one was a home run or step up from what we’ve tried before. This is was definitely worth the walk, beat out meals that we waited longer or paid more for, and may be somewhat of an overlooked gem because it’s <1 year old and slightly off the beaten path. ~ Austin B

Eine ganz wunderbare Erfahrung mit allen Sinnen! Köstliche, im Geschmack explodierende Speisen und Getränke, die liebevoll und detailliert kredenzt wurden. Das Restaurant hebt sich mit seinem "Slowfood-Konzept" wohltuend von den üblichen Tourismuskonzepten ab. Zudem ein warmherziges und sehr aufnerksames Team. Belle découverte que ce petit restaurant la cheffe cuisine de bonnes et jolies assiettes pleines de saveurs exotiques… Nous étions installés au bar car j’ai réservé à la dernière minute… pas super confortable mais la prochaine fois on s’y prendra un peu plus tôt pour avoir une table!! We hebben hier heel lekker gegeten. Enorm lekkere tapas/petiscos gerechten, maar dan met een moderne twist en zeer verfijnd! Service is heel gastvrij. Cocktails zagen er ook erg goed uit, maar hebben we niet genomen. Jammer dat het wat verder uit het centrum zit, want dit leuke tentje mag wat meer aandacht en publiek krijgen! ~ Gun H

What a find ! So glad my parents came across this place and we will be going back again for more. It’s one of the places which is hard to pinpoint what they do best as it is all so good the food, the cocktails, the wine, the service, the interior design & the atmosphere are all amazing. Our favourite was the beetroot carpaccio which was exquisite and miso aubergine was also great. One of those few places that both meat eaters and vegetarians will be excited to go too as they have high quality for both which I think is so unusual. It is a great intimate restaurant which also has amazing music (certainly a first time I’ve come out a restaurant wanting their playlist). Certainly the kind of place once you discover you will keep going back to. ~ Joe H

Small and cosy place where you arrive and feel very comfortable and relaxed. Nelson and his team always have the knowledge of everything they selling and the gorgeous dishes they do for us. Presentation, ingredients, flavours, local products, every single detail they do they best for your experience to be memorable and I'm for sure coming back always when I'm around. Please make a visit and see fir yourself the unique cuisine and dishes they have. Cocktails Mateus is the best and very friendly with a big smile at the bar. Mit gerade mal fünf Tischen und einer Bartheke sehr klein. Aufgrund der Größe ist der Lautstärkepegel höher, aber nicht unangenehm. Das Publikum ist größtenteils sehr jung. Wer einen Tisch ergattert, sollte sich glücklich schätzen. Also keine Hemmungen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen, zwei Vorspeisen zum teilen, war sehr lecker. Die Qualität sehr gut. Tijdens ons jaarlijkse verblijf in Lagos hebben we dit nieuwe restaurant 2x bezocht. Zeer vriendelijke bediening en een plek die echt afwijkt van andere eetgelegenheden. De tapas waren overheerlijk en ik heb ook genoten van een verfrissende cocktail. Al met al een plek om te bezoeken als je van lekker eten houdt en eens af wil wijken van de geijkte gerechten. Our new favorite spot in Lagos! The food is to die for and out of this world. Everything is designed to a wonderful experience and each dish was a surprise this combined with amazing cocktails is a place Lagos needed for a long time. The smoked burrata and the pani puri was our Highlight and on top the people working there are wonderful! The interior is well designed and we loved the music and the vibe . We will for sure come back and cant wait to try out more creative dishes with delicious cocktails. So if you are looking for a fun cocktail and dining experience out of this world and out of the booring traditional or touristic places then you must go and try as many dishes and cocktails as possible! ~ Andrea G

Wir hatten so eine tolle Gesamterfahrung in diesem kleinen, süßen Restaurant! Es gibt nur 4-5 Tische und das Team besteht aus 2 Personen. Eine kocht und zaubert mit frischen Zutaten wahnsinnig gute Kompositionen und die andere Person, arbeitet im Service, ist sehr zugewandt und gibt tolle Empfehlungen zu Weinen &co. Incroyable!! Le restaurant se situe dans une petite place au calme. Nous avons été super bien accueillis. Le serveur était au petits soins avec nous. Les plats étaient succulents. Ma préférence était pour les crevettes panées à la patate douce avec sa sauce, un vrai délice. Mais tout le reste était très bon. 10/10 à tous les plats Bravo ~ Benita D

What a fabulous find, and what an innovative menu, it may be small, both the restaurant and the menu , but wow! We started off with a delicious cocktail, C’alma, which is a local gin, and a bottle of Luis Pato red. Then some sourdough bread and some of the nicest butter Ive eaten. We opted for the pani puri stuffed with steak tartare which worked beautifully and some shrimp and sweet potato rissoles. My husband ate the beef wellington… not a morsel left and I had the octopus which was delightful, the popping pomegranate seeds really finished it off. I finished with a dessert very reminiscent in flavour of a chocolate Terry Orange.. just wow! Definitely will return. ~ nikki w

Lugar pequeño pero acogedor, con música agradable que invita a conversar y disfrutar del momento. La comida excelente, con platos diferentes y que sorprenden no solo en el emplatadosino también en los sabores. El servicio es estupendo, con un trato de 10. Pequeno restaurante, bem decorado com algumas obras que apetecia levar para casa, música um pouco mais alto do que usual para a atmosfera, bem agradável devo dizer. A comida é incrível, comemos as guyosas, os camarões e em principal o robalo e o polvo, tudo incrível. As sobremesas também surpreenderam, trate de maçã com gelado de queijo de cabra e mousse com amêndoas e sabor a laranja. Wow 🤩. Parabéns!! Recomendo vivamente ~ Lourenço R

The food at Irreverente Wine & Food was unlike anything we’ve had in Portugal thus far. Chef Carmen reimagined the way flavours work together combining various parts of Asian cuisine with the freshness of Portuguese ingredients. We had the Pani Puri to start which was a burst of flavour, the osso bocco croquettes with a delicious sauce, the shrimp dumplings had the most divine and spicy green Thai curry - our favourite dish that we ended up ordering again, and the octopus in the roasted red pepper sauce was also so tender. We were so incredibly happy to have stopped here as we also had just the best time getting to know and talk all things with the Bartender Mauro and Host Nelson. If they were open the next night, we absolutely would have been back. The vibe, decor, hospitality, food and drinks are 12/10. Do yourself a favour and add this place to your plans - you won’t be disappointed. ~ Jenoja J

Ein wahres „Food Experience“ 👌 Wir waren hier Abends zu zweit zum Tapas essen. Die Gerichte waren einzigartig! Wir waren bei jedem Gang erstaunt was der Koch/die Köchin hier gezaubert hat. Noch selten haben wir so gute Tapas gegessen. Absolute !!!! Weiterempfehlung. Auch der Service war überaus bezaubernd und das Ambiente sehr angenehm mit smoother Hintergrundmusik. Just wow!! Ignore the short walk out of town (stop at a bar on the way) and make the effort to try this astonishingly good, vibey restaurant with the most innovative food & cocktails. We ate blue cheese & fig jam, duck dumplings, croquettes, prawn gyoza & teriyaki pork taco - all unreal! The flavours and presentation are a wonder & all made in a tiny kitchen. We also had desserts & a few glasses of red wine (plus 2 gorgeous cocktails), all in all a fantastic experience with brilliant, attentive, helpful service on top! Wish this restaurant was close to our home, I'd come back to Lagos just to go there again! ~ Allison E
